Our first title choice is The Evening Road by Laird Hunt. If you love political or historical novels, then this is a good fit for you. It is about not so well-known stories about important moments for women in American history.

Our next pick is The Young Widower's Handbook by Tom Mcallister. This novel is about a man named Hunter Cady who sadly loses his wife. Hunter goes on a journey across the country, carrying his wife's ashes along with him. He's trying to learn to cope with the grief but also move forward with his life at the same time.

Darling, I'm Going to Charlie by Maryse Wolinski is about her late husband who was tragically killed in a terrorist attack in 2015. In her memoir she looks back on her romance while also wondering about sociopaths and the issues that caused her husband's death.

We Were the Lucky Ones by Georgia Hunter is based on her grandfather's survival during the Holocaust. It is about a Jewish family living in Poland during the beginning of the Great War. Every member of the family was forced into exile and spent their time hiding in disguises.

Difficult Women by Roxanne Gay is a contemporary novel which focuses on many of the issues a woman could be facing in our society today. She grips you into her stories with her humor and psychological depth.

They're learning to survive through a relationship and learning about the trying struggles of adulthood in the 21st century. This book is recommended to millenials as it's written by one and it's about them!
